vinyl help!

I recently got a PM Josefina doll, and she pretty much looks new, but there is a little brown mark on the back of her wrist (marker?) I tried a damp cloth, but it didn't take it off. Any suggestions??? Thanks!

I'd try baking soda on a damp washcloth.... has worked well for me!

Acne cream with 10% benzoyl peroxide. Put a dab on and place her in a sunny spot, preferably outside. Wipe it off in the evening and re-apply the next morning. Continue until the spot is gone.

If the sun isn't shining, or you don't want her outside, you can also put her under a desk lamp--use a 60-watt bulb and have it about 3-4" above the Oxy-10 spot. Leave it for several hours, then wipe with a damp cloth. If it isn't gone by then, repeat the treatment--sometimes it takes 2 or 3 days to get rid of a mark completely. It depends on how deeply the ink or whatever has seeped into the vinyl. Good luck! [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

Also try one of the magic erase sponges. They take off tons of stuff. Kim

you can also try rubbing alcohal for pen marks, but try a little bit on an unconspicious spot before you start really scrubbing
